Today we went outdide for the first time. It's cold outside and you can tumble down stairs and you can annoy mommy by spreading out in all six directions.

This is how it looks when you unload the little ones:

And then we can dash around outside like mad.

Being outside is now all day's routine. As often as possible we grab them all and go outside for a moment. They are still too small to be outside for longer. Number five is always the one that is complaining most when she is cold. Inside she is the one who beats up the others and outside she is a wimp. Leaves are good for carrying around and outside is good for going to the toilet there.

Apart from that they can chew on their siblings' ears, paws and what else. And of course on our fingers. That can hurt quit a lot, as the molars are breaking through. The litter box is used, sometimes, that is. Depending on how much they are in a hurry.

The males can use the toys best. Number 5 is the most dominant, number 2 is the quietest, numbers 1 and 6 are the most affectionate. Number 1 climbs on your arm and falls alsleep there. When she is put down she climbs up again. She can be carried wonderfully on the arm. She likes that.

Milk-bar "Momma's best" is still the best food, but everything else can be eaten almost as well.

Our favourite toy is the balancing top. That is used a lot, but these babies don't really understand the problem. The other whelps took some time until they could stay on it without falling off, but these use it as a vantage point to have better access when attacking their siblings or when climbing in the big kennelbox. Remarkable.

Today we have started the hunting-training. We have selected an easy target: mice. It is most important that the babies get used to their later prey. At first, Yela was having an eye on them to ensure that nothing goes wrong, but the little male shows that he has a good grasp of the topic.
